I'm not sure how people do this palliative care thing all day every day. I can't give any more of myself or there will be nothing left. I haven't cried yet. I think it's coming.

Oh, dear. I've had just 2 palliative patients in all my hospital experience and that was hard enough. A whole ward-ful must be tremendously difficult. Our local pall care gurus always emphasise talking with your peers and supervisors and allowing yourself to grieve rather than bottling it up. Hugs.
Palliative is really really hard. You're doing an important thing for these people and for their families. Hugs.
