Most annoying

I tried not to tell the physiotherapist that I was a doctor because often that colours your interactions with other healthcare professionals and not always in a positive way. Unfortunately, I had to put my occupation on the survey. This lead to the very annoying question of "what do you think is going on"? if I knew what was wrong, I would have fixed it myself! Of course, when I told him, he agreed. Hrm.

I find it really awkward to seek healthcare for that very reason. When I go to my family doctor, she asks me what medications I want and what tests I want her to run. Ummm...you're my doctor....you tell me.

Lol sounds like a fabulous encounter. Perhaps the natural consequence of a patient who can diagnose themselves is a greater focus on management techniques? I hope you see an improvement soon.
