so sad. I don't know her, so I don't really feel comfortable requesting an invite (if I knew how to do that...). I'll miss her.

I saw that also. One of those "blog life cycle" things I guess. I liked her blog though and will also miss her.
Oh, not to worry, I'm not gone for good.
I've disappeared temporarily because I'm so busy with work and buying a property at the moment. I thought that if I took my blog offline (by making it so that even I have to sign in to view all of my blog links), it would make me more productive.
And it's worked! I'm spending almost no time reading blogs (and haven't written anything since making the blog private, so you're not missing anything), I am getting a lot of work done and am making good progress on the home buying front.
But thank you for the kind words. I'll be back again ... likely in mid-December. And who knows, maybe I'll have a completed home purchase to tell you all about. Whee!
