sad

It's sad that on the first day of school I'm already regretting volunteering for the few things I did. Neuro is going to KILL me. I have absolutely no knowledge base for this subject and I was lost the first day. I am going off tomorrow to buy Blumenfeld's Neuroanatomy through clinical cases. Please god make it help me!

I wish you luck, suddenly my fetal circulation studies seem painfully simple in comparison to neurological studies...

It's too bad I'm on an away rotation, you'd be welcome to my copy of Blumenfield's for the cost of shipping. I hate neuro with a deep and burning passion. I should probably learn it though...

I find neurology to be such an interesting subject...when discussed casually. But I was so unimpressed with the way my neuro class was taught that I was sure I had failed it. Turns out I got a B. So, don't fret. Just do your best and I suspect you'll do just fine.

There was this great little book when I was in med school --ah, here it is:
Clinical Neuroanatomy Made Ridiculously Simple
If I did the tag right, you can click on it and find one on Amazon for 69 cents used.

Good luck! At least neuro is logical.

Thanks guys for all your tips! Nathan, I wish I could take you up on your offer, sure would have beat 72 bucks. Peg, I'll look into getting that book too. Origin - in theory, lots of things are interesting, until the class consists of monotonously naming all of the arteries, nerves, etc. in each slice of a CT. This doesn't mean much to me!
