Atim

This is the dog that adopted me today for a walk. I call him Atim, which means dog in cree.

The walk was BEAUTIFUL. It was +1 today and nice and sunny. The general surgeon told me about this path he walks regularly.

These colourful strips of fabric are tied to trees around a house down the road from me. Apparently the man who lives there does sweat lodges. I wonder if these having some spiritual significance.

Ah, it's beautiful. Looks like home! (The village where I'm from is surrounded by acres and acres of forest, filled with paths just like that one.)

Well that dog looks exactly like the dog my roomie in Moose adopted when I was there, but younger. I can only assume he is a descendant and has inherited the mooching gene from his parent.....that sad hungry I'm a nice dog look that I see in the picture!

I'm part Aboriginal but I've never been anywhere with other aboriginals.

Wow new header! It's beautiful! And so is the place you're living - though I'm sure you appreciate it every day.

I wish I could escape to a place like that every so often!
